To me, pursuing a healthy lifestyle means that I feel in balance in my life, no matter what kind of chaos is swirling around me. To do this, I anchor my days around activities that I know align with my personal health goals but keep me excited and positive at the same time.
5:30 am: Wake up, listen to meditations or calm music to start the day. (Snacks Daily Podcast, Headspace Podcast.)
6:00 am: Gym, Platform Strength in RiNo.
7:15 am: Shower. (Primally Pure Skincare.)
7:30 am: Eat a breakfast salad, usually breakfast sausage, mixed greens, pickled onions, and hummus. I usually listen to a business-related podcast, such as The Journal from the Wall Street Journal while I eat.
8:00 am: Start the workday, usually from home for the first hour unless I have early meetings.
8:00-12:00 pm: Appointments or checking in with my team about the things we need to accomplish for the day
12:00 pm: Lunch. I try to schedule appointments for lunch so that I can multitask and network while I eat (Go-to spots: Corner Beet in Cherry Creek, Green Seed in RiNo)
12-5 pm: Appointments.
5-8 pm: Either I’m attending an event or headed home to finish up the day. If I’m going home, I try to get in a 20-45 minute Peloton ride to get a good sweat in before bed.
8-10 PM: Hanging out with my wife and our french bulldog Denali, then bed.
