New Fall Menu at Departure
Located in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, Departure is a forward-thinking, modern Asian restaurant from Sage Restaurant Group helmed by Culinary Director Gregory Gourdet and Executive Chef Khamla Vongsakoun. This Fall, the team is eager to debut a new menu highlighting the bounty of seasonal autumn ingredients, reinvented to capture the dynamic flavors of the Far East. Pumpkin, persimmon, and fig are just a few of the new components that celebrate the season and allow diners to explore familiar flavors in captivating new dishes. The presentation will focus on more traditional-style plating of appetizers and entrees to encourage diners to try new flavors but in an approachable dining environment.

The Simple Jar was created to provide healthy and convenient meal options for anyone who wants to eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle but doesn’t have the time to grocery shop and meal prep.
The Simple Jar salads are delivered to the home or office within a designated delivery window each week. Sourcing from local purveyors whenever possible for in-season ingredients, the handcrafted salads are made fresh and are vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free. Currently serving the greater Denver and Boulder area.
Natural Occurrences Exhibit at Walker Fine Art
Connecting our human experience and the external world, this group of artists shares their interpretations of nature’s imprint on the human experience. Patterns of movement, flashes of memory and the language of light influence each creators’ definition of reality through carefully composed color, line, transparency, and shadow. Expressing the impression of a moment, these artists manifest themselves into narratives of life’s journeys and experiences.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, 5-9 p.m. at the gallery in the Prado building on 11th & Cherokee Streets in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District. The reception is free and open to the public, and the artists will be in attendance. The exhibition is on view through Saturday, January 5, 2019, during regular gallery hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., or by appointment. Walker Fine Art is a member of the Golden Triangle Museum District and the Denver Art Dealers Association.
