Let’s talk about New Year’s resolutions. Why do we set ourselves up for failure with lofty goals, that no matter how good, are inevitably a chain of compromises? I recently read an interesting article about goal setting and the best advice was to break down resolutions into smaller goals with no set in stone date.

Do you want to kick in healthier habits and it’s not January 1st? Go for it. No matter the date or time, there’s no better time than the now to better yourself.

Regardless of your personal goals, a common resolution with each new year is to live a healthier lifestyle. Personally, I want to stress less and eat better. 

With that in mind, the January issue is chock-full of helpful ways to lead a healthy life. Including new fitness trends to try, deconstructed nutritious recipes by Laura Krudener of Among the Colors, a 15-minute workout and how to diet by color. Lastly, an interview with Boulderite-now-New-Yorker Tyler Haney who is taking on the athletic apparel world one design at a time.
