Wine Down Service Launches at Great Wolf Lodge

Parents visiting Great Wolf Lodge will enjoy a new indulgence this summer as the resort debuts Wine Down Service, a new signature wine, cheese and dessert pairing program that allows guests to “wine down” after a fun-filled day of play with their children. Great Wolf Lodge is North America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts with 14 destinations that offer an incredible array of family-friendly attractions, entertainment, dining and accommodations.

For this new service Great Wolf Lodge chose to work with The Wine Group to develop a delectable menu that features both sweet and savory culinary treats, perfectly paired with a delicious bottle of wine that parents can savor in the comfort of their suite. The service will launch at the Great Wolf Lodge resorts in Williamsburg, Va. and Grapevine, Texas after Memorial Day weekend, with plans to expand the service to additional resorts later this year.

The Wine Down Service menu features a variety of sommelier curated wine pairings designed to entice taste buds. Guests can order Wine Down Service through guest services at the resort with the ability to select one of four carefully curated pairings, or create their own package from an á la carte menu. Catering to the special needs of parents, guests also select the optimal time for their Wine Down delivery, between the hours of 8-11pm. Instead of knocking on the guest’s door, Great Wolf Lodge will send a text message prior to delivery to avoid waking children mid-slumber.

Design District

The Denver Design District is pleased to announce two new showrooms – a beautiful new expanded showroom for Chuck Wells & Associates and coming soon…The German Kitchen Center.

Established in 1976, the Chuck Wells & Associates showroom has long been a favorite with interior designers in this region. Their expansion into a new location, Suite 112W is testament to their fine-design esthetic and superior customer service. The Post Brewing Company 
announces Brad Landman 
as new Brewmaster

Brad Landman has joined The Post Brewing Company as Head Brewmaster in August, 2017. A longtime veteran of the Denver beer scene, Landman has helped build outstanding reputations for some of the finest Front Range breweries including Wynkoop, Mountain Sun, and most recently, Prost.

“I am so excited to be heading over to The Post,” says Landman. “I’m a big fan of their beer and food, so there’s was no way I wouldn’t jump at the chance to work with them. Now I just have to cut the ‘R’ out of all my Prost shirts.”

Brad will take the reins from Bryan Selders, who was the founding Brewmaster at The Post, beginning in 2014, and recently moved back to Delaware to pursue an opportunity with his alma mater, Dogfish Head. Since the beginning, the focus of The Post beers has been on drinkability: beers that are flavorful, well balanced, food friendly and that you want to put in your mouth repeatedly, early and often.

“I can’t believe that I get to continue the work of Bryan Selders—I’ve had a man-crush on him ever since I saw the Discovery Channel show Brew Masters,” says Landman. “This is a perfect opportunity for me. I love The Big Red F Restaurants, especially The Post, and I can’t wait to help guide the beer program and the future expansion opportunities.”

Landman will continue to brew Post mainstays like US Open Beer Championship gold medal winning Howdy Beer, Townie Ale, Ol’ Zippy Premium American Ale, 1771 IPA, Top Rope Mexican-Style Lager and 2016 GABF gold medal winning Achtertuin Seizoen Farmhouse Ale. Seasonal favorites like Town Tart Kettle-Soured White Ale and Summer Teath IPA will continue to make their rounds on the menu, as will original new recipes from Landman.

“We are really excited to have Brad join the family,” says BRF and Post founder Dave Query. “Selders set us off on a remarkable course with our beer program and the philosophy around the beers we have wanted to make since the beginning, and he will continue to be a business partner in all things Post Brewing Company. Having someone join the team and stepping into Brian’s big shoes such as Brad, with his long and successful history in the Denver beer scene and his easy-going mojo, we are really excited about the future of our Post beers. Only issues I see moving forward are Brad’s devotion to Detroit sports teams, especially those Red Wings.”
