Team Lead/Owner/Realtor of Denver Luxe Team
Where did you grow up? Tell us a bit about your family.
I am a bit of a globe trotter. I was born in Manhattan to German parents on a visit from Germany and then spent the next 15 years in Munich. We then moved to Singapore where I graduated from College, followed by two years in London. I returned to the States in 1985 and spent time in Little Rock, NYC, Connecticut, Chicago, Montana and finally, my favorite: Denver!!
How did Denver Luxe Team start?
It started from a desire to start a Concierge-style real estate team that would provide unparalleled service to our clients. As a team, we can offer a seamless transition from contract to close, as well as address any issues that might come up for our clients during the process, such as arranging for movers, packers or handyman services. We have even provided a daily cleaning person for one of our Executives, who did not have time to keep his home in showing condition.
Have you always been involved in real estate?
Even though I have had a real estate license since 1997, I only started working in the industry full-time in 2008, as a condominium developer in Montana and then as an agent. Some of my previous endeavors include designing the interiors of and being a private flight attendant on private jets. Fun fact: Before diving into real estate full-time in 2008, I was Oprah’s private flight attendant for five years.
Tell us a bit about your time on TLC series “Surreal Estate.”
We were featured on one of their episodes, as we had a very unusual listing here in Denver that we called the Dr. Seuss home. I was surprised by the amount of time it took to get it filmed. The shoot lasted three days, even though the actual segment was only 15 minutes. It gave me a whole new appreciation for what it takes to produce these shows.
I start every morning…
with a 10-minute meditation and a 30-minute cardio workout.
A quote that inspires you?

What quality do you admire most in other people?
Resilience, the ability to deal with anything in a positive manner and then turning it into their strength.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Denver?
Eat! I love our culinary scene and all the amazing and talented new chefs coming to our city! Having lived in Manhattan and Chicago, I am continually impressed by the foodie culture in Denver.
