There’s something so rejuvenating about the month of May. The trees are awakening, flowers are budding to say hello to the sun, summer travel plans are closer than ever, and it’s finally wedding season. I’m starting to think May is my favorite time of year.
That’s why this issue revolves around wedding & travel, two of the loveliest topics. We went to the heart of Denver and set up a Pantone-inspired wedding shoot at the Denver Botanic Gardens. With mid-century elements, geometric shapes and plenty of pastel florals it turned into dreamland. We also played around with confectionary centerpieces, a trend we love this wedding season.
By far our biggest obsession this month was colorful Cuba. My Grandparents immigrated to the United States from Cuba many years ago and the culture has survived the passage of time and generations in my family. With tensions loosening for the first time since the Cold War, it’s an exciting time to share stories and useful travel tips with our readers for adventuring in Havana and the countryside.
I hope you all enjoy the May flowers and we encourage you to read Cherry Creek Lifestyle alfresco. This special month only comes around once a year, so enjoy it!
