The term “Colorado-made” has meant something reputable to craft beer circles for some time now, but it wasn’t until last year that Boulder decided to share that prestigious slogan with craft beer fans at the inaugural Boulder Craft Beer Festival.
Last year, the event organizers had anticipated only a maximum of 2,000 people and within 30 minutes of opening the gates, the festival had sold out of tasting glasses. The event is anticipated to be even bigger this year, but will maintain the integrity of a small-town festival by providing guests with their favorite craft beer that just so happens to be right in their backyards.
On August 22, 2015, Downtown Boulder and Liquor Mart will team up to bring Boulder and Boulder County the 2nd annual Boulder Craft Beer festival with more than 20 breweries, including Avery Brewing Co., Fate, J Wells, Oskar Blues, Sanitas and many more. Guests can sample Boulder beer, play lawn games and eat delicious food, all while enjoying live music from the Strange Americans and The Rail Splitters.
So many Coloradans are familiar with the craft beer fad, but many are unaware that so many craft breweries exist so close to home. The Boulder Craft Beer Festival gives craft beer novices the opportunity to sample the goodness each brewery contributes, without having to visit 50 different tap rooms. So grab your friends, grab a glass and check out the 2nd Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival!
